On June 5, a SMILE local event, connected to the World Environment Day, took place in Pietra Ligure. Whole morning was dedicated to the environment, to raise awareness among young people and to discuss the possible strategies about contrasting littering in marine areas. On June 20th, 2014 Smile was brought as example for the reduction of environmental impact during the LIFE+ projects event at the "SMART WEEK" in Genoa.

The first training session for fishermen took place January 30th and was focused on the litter catching traps’ positioning. On our facebook page you can find some pictures.
